DIY COFFEE SCRUB

Soft skin is must for this upcoming spring- well, anytime at that. This scrub helps  to fight cellulite, stretch marks and overall helps to rejuvenate your skin! There are so many seemingly overpriced coffee scrubs that are sold and I personally think homemade is always the better alternative. YOU know what's in it and that it's all natural. Here is how I made the scrub.

You will need:
Caffeinated Coffee
Sea Salt
Coconut Oil

Add the loose coffee, sea salt and coconut oil. Stir together and combine!
Your scrub should look like this as a final result!
Lastly, apply all over skin- this is safe for anywhere!

Style Essentials: Bean Boots VS. Hunter Boots

Bean Boots or Hunter Boots? I personally say both. However you might want to weigh the pros and cons of both. It's not a very long list, but can definitely help you pick a side and decide.

Bean Boots
Pros: More durable
         Can go hiking in them
         Matches more outfits
More acceptable when worn, when not raining
Cons: Expensive
          A little clunky

Hunter Boots
Pros:Very Cute
         Great for rainfall (no kidding)
         Taller than bean boots
Cons: Causes major blistering
          Awkward to walk in

Hopefully, this helps you make a decision!

Rebecca

G O A L S

We are about a week and some into 2016, and the new year is finally settling in with me. I'm no longer scratching out the 5 on my assignments and changing it to a 6, and those new year flipagrams are out of the way. However, more importantly I have decided to try to set out some goals for myself this year. Now I know this sounds like one of the social media, overused trite- cliches featuring , "New year new me", "New year who dis", and "New year, new goals", but I promise you I am trying so hard to make this post as non-superficial realistic as possible. The main reason I decided to write this is so there is a written document to remind myself of what I want to do and motivate me to do it. So, some of my goals are going to be down below!

1// Get Closer to God- Blasting Hillsong's "Oceans" can only fill you up to some extent. This year I would love something deeper with Jesus. Some ideas that popped into my head are devotions, helpful books, good playlists, praying more- developing a prayer closet and so much more. Maybe once some of this ideas kick into full gear I will see some results. I don't mean to say that to make it sounds like God is some systematic mystical being that grants answers to prayers through worthy actions, but just throwing out ideas to help show God you are making some type of effort to get closer to him. Top priority of 2k16.

2// Get fit- The goal isn't to drop down to a size 00 by whenever, but simply to watch my eating habits better, take more trips to whole foods, exercise more often and overall look out for my well-being.

3//Consistently Blog- The Lord knows I love writing so much, and putting my thoughts out in public for the enjoyment of others is great. I would love to have a consistent blogging schedule for you all and no more sporadic posting.

4//Keep Up My Good Grades- New semester, new classes, new teachers. One of my goals is to focus academically and keep up my grades and have a rockin' gpa.

5// Try New Things- This year I want to be more open to things. Whether it's new trends, new food, new places, new products, I want to be more willing and have a more open mind. A lot less of staying in my comfort zone could definitely do me some good so why not?

Overall, my goals are few, so hopefully keeping up with them and completing them won't be as hard as I am imagining. If you have any goals, go for it! It's always worth it in the long run.

"I can and I will. Watch me"

Fall Jewelry Must Haves

Ahh, as the fall season is soon approaching and the Pumpkin Spice Lattes are soon to be a-brewing, I have come to the realization that I love fall and I dress my best in this season. I am not much of a summer person, however fall and winter are my favorite seasons to dress in. From the riding boots, to the layering of shep-shirts, I am 100% in it! Earlier today I was thinking about what to write about today and had a slight case of writers block until I got the though of accesorizing. Stacking bracelts, wearing statement necklaces and anything else imaginable are things that I love to do! Therefore, I wrote this post to share with you my favorite fall accesories as a follow up on my recent post about my favorite fall outfits.

Thank you all so much for reading and I hope this helps you!

Fall Clothing Must Haves

Hello once again! Today I would like to share with you all some of my staple items for the up and coming fall season. I decided to do it in collage form so it is more visually and aesthetically pleasing.

1. Striped T-shirt Dress- This dress is very comfortable and rather versatile and I wear mine frequently. I bought mine at J. Crew!
2. V-Neck Cashmere Sweater- I own a sweater just like the one above and I bought it from Gap, it looks like a ballerina type sweater and they are super comfortable and cute!
3. Puffer Vest- I have the exact puffer vest above from Nine West. I am so excited to pair it with linen shirts and any other clothing discoveries! I also have a navy blue one and they both pair so well.
4. Classic Denim- Everyone needs denim in the fall. They can be casual but also a bit cuter with a nice shirt! Great, classic staple item.
5. Bean Boots if you want to see the story of how I got my first pair of bean boots you can find that here. However, I have been in love with them since last year and plan on purchasing again this year!
6. Riding Boots- I actually wore riding boots today and I loved my outfit that went with them. Riding boots are probably one of the most versatile pair of shoes I own. You can wear them to church with the dress above or just a t-shirt and jeans! It's up to you!
7. Timeless Flats- A good pair of flats are close to necessary in the fall for school so you can be comfy and cute. Also, once again, a versatile shoe!

DIY Back to School Spa Day #bloggersbts

As the school year is vastly approaching, or may have already come for some of you; relaxing is a big part of a fresh new year! If sometimes you don't want to cough up the cash to go to an actual spa, but still want to look and feel refreshed, this post is for you! I have put together the perfect back to school stress reliever spa night to have you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Let's get started!

1. Setting the Mood- One step when it comes to relaxation is setting the mood. A place to start is lighting your favorite candle. My current favorite is the Bath and Body Works Lavender Vanilla candle. Lavender is my all time favorite scent! You can also use a room fragrance if you don't want to light up a candle!
2. Do Your Skincare Routine and Put on a Face Mask- This is my favorite skincare routine and it keeps me very close to acne free!

3. Run a Bath- If you like bubble baths, feel free to run one of those in the tub or add a bath bomb from Lush

4. Exfoliate- Exfoliating your skin is a vital for smooth skin. Out of all the skin scrubs I've ever tried, and trust me that's a lot, my all time favorite is my homemade scrub! To make the scrub: Mix 1 cup of Brown sugar, 1/4 cup of olive oil for moisturizing properties, 1 Tbs. of Vanilla extract for good smells, and 2 Tbs. of honey for softness. Mix it all up and scrub away!

5. Hair- In order to have good smelling hair the next day, you might want to do a full-on hair care routine the night before! That's right, deep conditioner and all! I started off by washing my hair with my Bed Head shampoo and conditioner and followed up with the Aussie 3-Minute Miracle deep conditioner for tropical, soft smelling hair. You can also add in whatever else you do for your hair!

6. Teeth Whitening- To have a pearly white smile for school, teeth whitening is totally necessary! If you don't have whitening strips, I have an alternative for you- DIY Teeth Whitening! Just add 1 Tbs. of baking soda and 1-2 tsp. of water and get the whitest smile!

That is my back to school pamper night routine! I hope you all enjoyed!
