For this recipe you will need:
-A protein pancake mix of your choice
-Water
-Vanilla extract
-Ground Cinnamon
-Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar as
-A heal conscious butter or coconut oil
GLAZE
-Powdered sugar or a vanilla protein powder
-Water or almond milk
-Vanilla extract
To begin, add your water and your mix in a bowl. Once you've mixed the pancake mixture, add in a few dashes of cinnamon and a tad of vanilla extract. Your house is about to smell so good.
On medium heat, spray your pan or griddle. After about a minute to two minutes, the pancakes are ready to turn. Another indicator is when you see holes in the pancakes, it's time to flip them. Make sure to press the pancakes to ensure there's no soft or raw spots in the pancakes. However, I do find that this specific mixture never really gets raw in the middle and always gives off a golden toasty look.
The pancakes should look somewhat like this when they're done! Well, that more depends on if you like your pancakes a tad burnt or even lighter than shown.
Now for the glaze and filling!
To start the filling, add about a tablespoon of butter or coconut oil, with a little drop of vanilla extract.
Following, add some ground cinnamon,
Add brown sugar and mash everything together into a paste.
Spread the paste in between each pancake so you never miss a taste between bites.
To top, the glaze is just a drop or two of water with powdered sugar or your favorite protein powder mix.
Drizzle the icing over the pancakes and dig in!
