"I want to be more fruitful, I want to live with intention, and I want the fullest life that I can have."God listens and more so, He speaks. God spoke to my heart. He told me to stop trying to figure out what kind of Christian I am, based off of my social media. He told me to stop trying to figure out my standing with Him, based on my outfit. He said to press into Him. It's so simple. It's a tactic that honestly, I often avoid. Just.press.in.
Time in His Word, time becoming sensitive to His spirit, time in prayer, time in worship.
An intentional life comes from living for God with intent. What pleases God? The Word says that the pure in heart are the people who see God (Matthew 5:8). I found myself always praying for a pure heart, but the Holy Spirit showed me that I needed to add action. I needed to talk to Him more, I needed to delve into the Word. That is where the transformation comes. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says that we are "beholding as a mirror the Glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as the Spirt of the Lord."
That's it. We are transformed to be like Him, by seeing Him face to face. How better to see Him than to seek His face through the Word, prayer and worship. We begin to reflect Christ, the more time that we spend with Him.
So, here's to seeking Him, here's to knowing Him, here's to he relentless pursuit of the one know relentlessly pursues us. Here's to living with intention and being nothing short of who Jesus Christ calls us to be, who the I Am calls us to be.
bless,
So here is my pact today- to press in and run after God relentlessly. This is my sole purpose.
