Top 3 Christian Apps for a Spiritually Enriched Summer

If you know me, you know that I love anything for and about Jesus. Mugs, notebooks, devotionals- you name it. If it glorifies Him, I'm all over it. Recently, I have come across some apps that I'm really enjoying! Technology can be used for good or bad, and God has been working with me recently to spend time on my technology doing things that make my soul smile, and make Him smile. I realized that I was slowly losing my zeal for God, and I realized that my phone was a big part of that. So, I talked to God about it- and the fire is back!

He's so gracious, and He promises to never turn away anyone who seeks Him.

John 6:37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out."
That being said, I just wanted to share two of my new favorite apps, and one classic!

Abide:

I love meditating. I love putting on a face mask, turning on some Ocean sounds, and just talking to God and reading my Bible. This app is incredible.
I'm always super weary of meditation if I don't know the sources, or reasoning. However, this app is truly just Bible verses and guidance.
Basically, it's an app that consists of sessions of different times. There are different sounds and nature that you can select as background noise, while your session leader speaks life over you.

They have:

-bedtime stories (sounds a little childish, but I promise you'll love it)
-daily meditation on the word
-guided meditation for
    -insomnia
    - depression
    -fear
    -hope
    -grief
    - anxiety
    - addiction
And it has a journal to help your tracking!

The guides have such a kindness about them and I really think this app is incredible. It's free for 14 days, and you can still use the free features after your trial. The app is $4.99 a month, or you can do $2.49/month when your pay $29.99 for the year.

Echo Prayer:

This app is perfect for a prayer journal in your pocket! You create a prayer, and when you feel like you have added enough, you click 'pray now'. You will then use it to guide you in your prayer list. Following, you can note if God has answered your prayer.

YouVersion Bible App:

I love this app for on the go Bible reading, and awesome reading plans. When I'm at lunch, or in the car, I love opening this app up for a quick Bible reading. In the morning, I like to read some of the plans that the app has. I just recently finished 'Supernatural Access' by Ryan LeStrange, and it was absolutely incredible! There are plans for everything, and they are easy to understand, yet full of profound truths.

If you're feeling a certain emotion, you can click on an emoji that describes it, and you can read a myriad of verses in app!

There are many cool features on YouVersion, and I really believe that you will enjoy them! This is easily my favorite Bible reading app!

Another feature I love is accountability. You can add your friends and with permission, see who is reading what Bible plan, what verses they have highlighted and more!

These are my top three apps for a spiritually enriched summer and I hope that you enjoy them also!

God bless,
